Following the successful completion of the first half-day session on the strategic approaches to implement the Kigali Amendment that took place on 26 May 2024, ahead of the 94th meeting of the Executive Committee, countries will continue discussing those issues including sustainable cooling on 9 December 2024 after the 95th meeting of the Executive Committee.
The discussion will focus on the key takeaways from the previous half-day session on supporting action beyond Kigali Amendment compliance, supporting national or sectoral plans, targeting investments to Kigali Amendment implementation issues, and strengthening the capacity of Multilateral Fund institutions and stakeholders to implement the Kigali Amendment.
The discussions will be moderated by a professional facilitator.
