55th Meeting - 14 -18 July 2008, Bangkok

Document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/55/2 presents a report on the activities of the Secretariat since the 54th Meeting of the Executive Committee.  The document includes information on the follow-up activities implemented by the Secretariat on the outcome of the 54th Meeting, the preparations for the 55th Meeting, as well as information on the missions undertaken by the Chief Officer and the staff of the Secretariat during this reporting period.  It also covers the actions taken by the Secretariat pursuant to decision 54/1 (b) with respect to the responses to the Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure and to the Head of the Chemicals Branch in UNEP’s Division of Technology, Industry and Economics.

The Executive Committee may wish to take note of the report.
