Information on procurement procedures in implementing agencies


UNEP

UNEP identifies suppliers according to their needs and then follows the appropriate administrative process in consultation with the United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), which is responsible for the procurement of goods and services for UNEP. Interested vendors are encouraged to register at the UNON Doing Business website.

UNDP

UNDP procures goods and services through competitive solicitations. The UNDP web site includes a section on procurement that comprises information on solicitation procedures, procurement notices, conditions of contract, frequently asked questions and contacts.

UNIDO

The UNIDO website has a procurement section that lists opportunities and includes information on the procurement procedures. Procurement is administered by the Procurement Services Division, Operational Support Services, Policy and Programme Support, which is responsible for solicitation of offers, awarding and management of contracts and purchase orders. In addition to the centralized procurement, UNIDO Representatives in the field are authorized to procure locally goods and services for the requirements  of field offices.

World Bank

The World Bank's Procurement web site provides information on the procurement policy, regulations, guidance and resources for suppliers.
